Daniel enlisted in the United States Army from Memphis TN. He first attended basic training at Fort Sill, OK before 52 weeks of advanced training in Fort Sam Houston, TX to become a 68k or medical laboratory technician. He served five years total and upon leaving the service used his GI bill to attend Belmont College of Law with the intent to help other veterans with their own journeys through the VA process. He lives in Crozet with his wife Alena and their two children, Fynn and Mila.
